Concert at Schott Recital Room Clelia will play with the acclaimed Brazilian soprano Rosana Lamosa on the 10th July at 7:00 PM. The programme will include songs by Schumann, Strauss, Rachmaninoff, Villa-Lobos, Claudio Santoro and a piano solo by Chopin. Concert at St. Barnabas February 2010 Clelia will take part in the Chopin Festival at St. Barnabas Church on the 27th February at 8:30pm. The concert will be at Chapel Royal, North Street, Brighton at 1:10pm. They will play works by Schubert, Poulenc, Mignone and Ronaldo Miranda. New DVD December 2009 Clelia's new DVD is now available at the Classical Recording Company website. New DVD Launch, UK November 2009 Clelia will launch her new DVD on the 19th November in a concert at St James's Piccadilly, London. The recital will be at 7:30 at St James's Piccadilly Church at 197 Piccadilly, London W1J 9LL. The programme includes works by Villa-Lobos, Beethoven, Mendelssohn, Chopin and Gottschalk. You need JavaScript enabled to view it Concert in Somerset, UK October 2009 Clelia will play a recital on the 30th October at the Minehead and West Somerset Arts Society The recital will be at 7:30 at The West Somerset Community College, Alcombe, Minehead. The programme includes works by Mozart, Albeniz, Mendelssohn, Chopin and Beethoven. Tour in China October 2009 Clelia will tour China with the renowned Coull Quartet, resident of Warwick University. They will play in several cities including Beijing, Hangzhou, Zoushan and Hefei. The programme will consist of Mozart, Britten, Mendelssohn, Schumman's Piano Quintet and an arrangement for piano quintet of the famous Yellow River.
Concert in Rio de Janeiro September 2009 Clelia will play the Mendelssohn Concerto No. 1 with the Cia Bachiana Brasileira Orchestra and maestro Ricardo Rocha. The concert will take place at Sala Cecília Meireles on the 12th September at 8:00pm. Tour in Brazil July-August 2009 Clelia will appear at the following cities:
CD Recording June 2009 Clelia will record a new CD dedicated to the music of Brazilian composer Marlos Nobre who celebrates his 70th Birthday this year. The recording will take place in England on the 27-28th June and will be released by the Lorelt label in December Recital in Uberlândia - Brazil May 2009 Clelia will play a recital on the 7th May in Uberlandia. BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra March 2009 DVD Recording Clelia has recorded a recital on DVD at the Menuhin Hall. The programme includes works by Beethoven, Mendelssohn, Chopin, Schubert/Liszt, Schumann/Liszt and Gottschalk. It is schedule to be released in the Summer 2009. The two performances "Brazil Plus" will take place at the Purcell Room in the South Bank Centre. Brazil Plus 1 Wednesday 2 April 2008, 7.45pm This concert features works by two Classical Brazilian composers - Villa-Lobos and Francisco Mignone, performed by the Lontano ensemble and pianist Clelia Iruzun. The programme includes the Choros VII, Sexteto Místico and Prole do Bebê by Villa-Lobos. Music by Mignone include 6 Prelúdios and Dança do Botocudo. In addition to these popular favourites, the programme includes new works by the British composers Andrew G Wilson and Silvina Milstein. Brazil Plus 2 Wednesday 9 April 2008, 7.45pm This Brazilian-influenced programme includes works for strings (performed by the Lontano ensemble) and for solo piano, performed by Clelia Iruzun, who perform music by Mignone and Nazareth, who was probably the first Brazilian composer to write Afro-Brazilian classical music. The evening features Brazilian classics such as Villa-Lobos' Bachianas Brasileiras No.9 and the recently rediscovered Danças Africanas for octet, the UK premiere of Franciso Mignone's Fantasia No.3 for strings and piano, and a selection of Classical Brazilian tangos by Nazareth. The concert also features new works by British composers Jeroen Speak and Chris Sansom.
